Emergency medical expense is the bare minimum needed to cover your hospital visit, hospital stay, and prescription medications. If you do not require any extras and depending on your age, the cost of insurance can be as low as $20 per trip.
Optional Coverages
In addition to emergency medical, optional coverages you can buy include travel cancellation and interruption, travel accident, lost baggage, or transportation expenses for emergency return.
Other Benefits
If you have insurance with another provider or through your credit card, you can simply purchase the additional days you need. Coverage extends to children under 17, and they can travel for free.
